What we collect and why
When you enquire, we ask for your name, WhatsApp number, chosen trip, travel month, group size and budget. For the April interest list, we also record your departure preference. We use this information to reply, prepare a proposal and update you about the journey you requested. Consent to an enquiry is not consent to unrelated marketing.
Where your details go
If online capture is connected, enquiry details are sent to Marumo’s configured Google Sheet or form service. If it is unavailable, the site prepares a WhatsApp message. Nothing is confirmed as saved until the site receives a successful response. You choose whether to send a WhatsApp message. Google and WhatsApp operate their own services and privacy policies.
Access and retention
Marumo should restrict access to people handling your enquiry and keep details only for as long as needed for that purpose and applicable obligations. The final retention schedule and Information Officer are to be confirmed. Do not provide passport details, payment details or sensitive information in these forms.
Your choices
To request access, correction, deletion or withdrawal of consent, contact shibu@marumo.africa or +27 83 984 2655. We will assess the request and explain any information that must be retained.
Site storage
The enquiry forms do not save your personal details in your browser. Analytics is not configured. The site does not take payments or create customer accounts.
